Happy New Year!

We would like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year! May your 2008 be everything you dream it to be! In reflecting on 2007....we had a great year filled with many great events, great clients, and wonderful memories. We at front porch are very excited about 2008. You will see some changes throughout the year, but the one thing that won't change is our excitement to work with you. We don't simply photograph you, we help you to capture and preserve your wonderful memories!
Take care everyone, be safe, and thank you ALL for a wonderful 2007!

One week until Christmas?!

Can it really be? The time goes so fast! Personally, I was very happy living under the illusion that there were still 26 days until Christmas, however, one of my friends called today to make sure that I was aware that in reality, I was running out of time! And yes, my friends, the big day is coming really fast!
I am still not caught up enough to update you with photos of everything that we have been up to in the last month or so, but I will share a few.
Last week we were very lucky to be able to spend some time with three very special girls (and their mom!).
Abby, Clare and Eva came to see us and have some photos done. They are so much fun! Such sweet girls! Abby has a very serious heart condition and is waiting and praying daily for a new heart. You can read her story on her website. http://www.caringbridge.org/mn/abbyleigh/
There is also a link to her story on the first page of our website http://www.frontporchphotos.com/
We feel very lucky to have gotten to know Abby and her wonderful family the last couple of years. Our job every day is to try to help people create and preserve special memories, and we thank you Heather, Mark, Abby, Clare and Eva for allowing us to help create and preserve yours! You are truly a very special family! Merry Christmas & God Bless!

Christmas is only 26 days away!!

We are busy taking last minute holiday photos and getting orders ready!
We are very behind in updating our blog! We will eventually get caught up, ( I promise!) but for now, we needed to remind everyone of our holiday deadlines. We would like all orders to be placed by December 6th for Christmas delivery. Friday, December 21st will be the last day that you can pick up your orders. We will NOT be in the studio December 22-26th.

Just because the wedding is over doesn't mean we can't still have some fun!

Thanks for coming in to play Ang! It really was fun, I haven't had a chance to really look at the photos yet, and it might be awhile, but I picked a few out that I liked.

This little sweetheart was in for 6 month photos...

Hello from Notre Dame

My family and I left on Thursday morning...
Courtney wanted to make a stop to check out Winona State on the way. We didn't have time to do a complete campus tour, so we decided to just check out the campus on our own. While we were wandering around, we ran into Vanessa Bigaouette! We were so lucky! It was great to see her and she gave us a wonderful tour of the campus. Thank you so much Vanessa!
Friday we got to Notre Dame and had a great day. Tour of the college, lunch in the South dining hall, trip to the bookstore, a visit with our niece and nephew Kate and Zach (hope to see them again today!) , tour of the stadium (THANK YOU VERY MUCH PHIL JOHNSON!) volleyball game, and pep fest. We had planned to take in the girls basketball game as well, but decided that we were tired and hungry.
We are having a blast!

Today is game day...everyone is dressed in the proper green and blue attire and we are off to the game!
More pics later...
